Hi I’m Heather Lyn I'm a 22 year old woman who is enjoying life to the fullest! As a trained chef, I enjoy cooking all kinds of cuisine that uses all five senses. Delicious meals that bring a smile to my face and a warm feeling in my tummy. Anyone who knows me at all, knows I am definitely a big coffee fan. I look forward to coffee time every day. The sweet aroma is an addicting love of mine. I'm not quite there yet, but every new thing I learn gets me one step closer to being called an official “Barista." Another big part of my life is fitness. Most recently Yoga has come to the top of my list. In fact I have started the long journey to becoming a Yoga Instructor. Even though I’ve only been at it for a little while, I am growing more physically fit and more relaxed every time I hit the mat. I'm a creative free spirit with an unquenchable thirst for seeing every part of this beautiful world. I really never know when I wake up in the morning what each day will hold, but I guess that's the fun part. There are two things that have always been constant, my God and His unmerited favor on my life and my family, who has always supported and loved me though thick & thin. That's what keeps me standing tall with my feet firmly on the ground. So you ask who I am, that's the best I can do. Whether I’m on my mat in Downward Facing Dog pose or barefoot in the kitchen cooking something delicious or playing my guitar in the middle of the night singing softly, I promise I'll be sharing my heart on this blog every chance I get. I’ve embraced my New Years Resolution to stay open to life and all God has in store for me. Loves

Some people say that the Christian life is very hard. My friend, it is not hard , it is impossible! The only one who can live it is Jesus Himself, and He wants to do it in us today. That is why it is not up to our own efforts...It was fulfilled on our behalf and the price for our sins has been paid on the cross. Our part today is to believe in our Savior, and receive from Him the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness.The Christian life is a life of rest in Christ Jesus and His finished work. It is time to rest from your own efforts and to enjoy Jesus!
